- 3 lbs chicken breasts skinless, boneless
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 1/2 cup Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- salt to season

Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Lightly spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking oil and add the seasoned chicken pieces to it.
In a large bowl, mix the marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and garlic powder until fully combined.
Pour the orange glaze over the chicken then stir together until the chicken is fully coated.
Cook on high for 2 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through. Once the chicken is cooked, mix cold water and cornstarch in a small bowl until it’s dissolved. Then, add it to the slow cooker.
Cook for another 30 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
Serve warm over rice, noodles, or vegetables.
- If you want to add a bit of heat to this dish, add 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes to the sauce before cooking.
- The marmalade gives this dish a very noticeable sweet orange flavor, much simpler than juicing oranges but tastes just as fresh!
