Equipment

  • 1 Small Pan
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

  • 4 Pickle Spears dill
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese

Instructions

  • Remove four pickle spears from the jar and pat each of them dry. Set aside.
  • Place one slice of provolone cheese into a small pan on a stovetop over medium heat.
  • Cook the cheese until it bubbles and browns around the outside edge then turn off the heat.
  • Place one pickle spear in the center of the melted cheese and use a spatula to wrap the cheese up around it like a blanket.
  • Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining pickles.
  • Eat them plain or dipped in ranch.

Notes

Storage Notes:
  • It is best to make and enjoy these little snacks right when you want to. Storing them for later can make the cheese blanket soggy and soft.
If you do have some leftover pickles in a blanket, you can store them in an airtight container and refrigerate them. To reheat them, just microwave them for a few minutes.
