Ingredients
1boxed brownie mix
2eggs
½cupvegetable oil
3tablespoons water
1 ½cupSnickers barschopped up
½bagcaramels
3tablespoonsheavy cream
Instructions
Make the brownie mix as it's written on the side of the box and preheat the oven according to the directions.
Grab a 9X9 baking pan and spray it will non-stick spray. You can also use parchment paper to help with keeping the chocolate brownie batter from sticking to the sides.
Cut the Snickers into 1/2 inch pieces.
Pour 1/2 of the brownie batter into the pan. Tap the pan a little bit to level it out.
Put the pan in the oven and bake for 6 minutes.
While the brownie batter is baking in the oven, put the heavy cream and caramels into a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 25-second intervals. Stir each time the timer goes off until melted. Don't overheat!
Sprinkle the chopped snickers over the semi-baked brownie layer. Then drizzle the melted caramel mixture over the top of that.
Pour the remaining brownie batter on top. Make sure to pour the mixture all over the top so that it's easier to spread. (I recommend using an offset spatula)
Bake the brownies for the remaining time that is listed on the box. Once that time is up, check and see if the brownies are baked and ready to be pulled from the oven.
Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting. This will help them to cut easier as well.
Notes
Storage: Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week.
