Air Fryer Mini Pizzas

These Air Fryer Mini Pizzas are hands down the easiest way to enjoy the taste of homemade pizza, fresh out the of the pizza oven without all the fuss.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 Biscuits canned, refrigerated Grands
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup Italian Sausage cooked and crumbled
  • Veggies green peppers, onions, black olives, etc

Instructions

  • Cut each biscuit into halves, long ways to create two circular layers. Using a little bit of flour on your fingers and on a flat surface, use a rolling pin to roll each biscuit layer flat until it’s about 4 inches wide.

  • Lightly spray the basket with cooking oil, then pre-bake the dough in batches of 4 at 400 degrees for 3 minutes. (This is important because if you don’t pre-bake the dough, the crust will not cook through fully and will be gummy and undercooked in the center).

  • Mix the pizza sauce and Italian seasonings together in a bowl.

  • Once the dough is baked, top each biscuit with about 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce. Using the back end of a spoon, spread evenly leaving ½ inch clearance before the edge.

  • Sprinkle on some mozzarella cheese, about 1-2 tablespoons per mini pizza. And add your favorite toppings.

  • Bake at 400 degrees for 3 more minutes per batch. Carefully remove from the air fryer using a spatula, serve hot!

Notes

Storage and Re-heating Notes

You can place these in a plastic baggie or an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat them in the air fryer for 3 minutes at 300 degrees or until crispy.
