Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Strawberries sliced
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Instructions

  • Slice the strawberries and place them in a medium saucepan along with the lemon juice, water and sugar and stir together until combined.
  • Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring occasionally then turn the heat down and simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
  • Remove from heat and allow the strawberry sauce to cool to room temperature.
