STORAGE AND REHEATING NOTES:
How to Store Leftover Blackberry Cobbler
The best way to store any leftover cobbler that you may have is to transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate it.
You can also choose to cover it up with some cling wrap if you want to keep it in the same baking dish.
How to Reheat the Blackberry Cobbler
Reheating the cobbler is super easy. Just portion out the cobbler in a plate and microwave it for 20-30 seconds or until it is nice and warm.
HELPFUL TIPS & SUBSTITUTIONS:
Can I Use Frozen Blackberries?
You sure can! While fresh blackberries are the best choice for this recipe since they hold their shape better, you can also choose to use frozen blackberries if that’s what you have at hand. Just remember to thaw them first.
How Do I Thicken the Filling?
You can add a bit of cornflour to the filling to get it to thicken up. This can be especially helpful if you’re using frozen blackberries for the filling. Also remember to allow the cobbler to rest on a wire rack for 15 minutes before you serve it. This will also help the juices thicken as they cool down.
How Can I Serve the Blackberry Cobbler?
While the blackberry cobbler tastes insanely delicious on its own, you can also team it up with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if you want to.
