How to Make Slow-Cooker Orange Chicken
Step 1: Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Lightly spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking oil and add the seasoned chicken pieces to it.
Step 3: In a large bowl, mix the marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and garlic powder until fully combined.
Step 4: Next, pour the orange glaze over the chicken, and stir together until the chicken is fully coated.
Step 5: Then, cook on high for 2 hours or until the chicken is cooked through. Once the chicken is cooked, mix cold water and cornstarch in a small bowl until it’s dissolved. Then, add it to the slow cooker.
Step 6: Cook for another 30 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
Step 7: Serve warm over rice, noodles, or vegetables.
