How to Make Jalapeno Popper Pigs in a Blanket in the Oven

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F, then spray a 9 x 13-inch baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2: Then, remove the crescent rolls from the package and separate the triangles. Using a pizza cutter, cut each one in half lengthwise, then cut in half again, horizontally. You should have 4 pieces from every triangle and 32 pieces total. Set aside.

Step 3: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, then add the bacon, green chilies, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 4: Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly between the crescent roll pieces, spreading a thin layer on each one.

Step 5: Then, place a Lit’l Smokie on the widest end of each piece of dough. Roll it up.

Step 6: Place the pigs in a blanket on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Step 7: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
