How to Make Cinnamon Crescent Rolls in the Oven

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth and fully incorporated. Set aside.

Step 3: Next, unroll the cold crescent dough on a lightly floured surface and separate each of the 8 triangles. Use a spatula or butter knife to distribute the cinnamon butter filling equally between each crescent roll, spreading to the edges of each triangle.

Step 4: Beginning at the widest point of the triangle, roll each crescent down to the end, ensuring the tip is tucked underneath.

Step 5: Place each cinnamon crescent roll on the baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes until golden brown.

Step 6: While the crescent rolls bake, make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Step 7: Ice each baked crescent roll, serve warm, and enjoy!

  • 8 oz pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth and fully incorporated. Set aside.
  • On a lightly floured surface, unroll the cold crescent dough and separate each of the 8 triangles. Use a spatula or butter knife to distribute the cinnamon butter filling equally between each crescent roll, spreading to edges of each triangle.
  • Beginning at the widest point of the triangle, roll each crescent down to the point, making sure the tip is tucked underneath.
  • Place each cinnamon crescent roll on the baking and bake for 8-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • While the crescent rolls bake, make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
