HOW TO MAKE TIKTOK SPAGHETTI IN THE OVEN

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: In a large saucepan, brown your ground beef, and stir in the diced onion and minced garlic and cook together until the onions are translucent then drain off the grease. Add the meat back to your pan.

Step 3: Pour in your entire jar of pasta sauce and Italian seasonings, then mix together. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Step 4: Boil some water and cook your spaghetti noodles al dente for about 7 minutes.

Step 5: While the noodles are boiling, make your alfredo sauce by melting one stick of butter in a large pan, then slowly adding your heavy cream and whisking the two together as you bring the sauce to a light simmer. Add your garlic powder and pepper to taste. Turn off the heat, then add in your parmesan cheese and combine until fully melted and incorporated.

Step 6: Drain your noodles and pour them into the pan with the alfredo sauce and mix together. Pour the alfredo covered spaghetti into a lightly sprayed 9X13 casserole dish or foil pan.

Step 7: Next spoon your spaghetti and meat sauce all over the top of the alfredo noodles, DO NOT MIX, just layer it on top.

Step 8: Finally, cover with shredded cheese and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

STORAGE AND REHEATING NOTES:

Your leftover TikTok spaghetti can be transferred to an airtight container and refrigerated for 3-4 days, if not more. To reheat it, pop it in the microwave for a few minutes, with a little drizzle of water on the top to moisten it.

HELPFUL TIPS & SUBSTITUTIONS:

What Can I Use Instead of Ground Beef?

If you don’t have ground beef, you can use any other ground lean meat of your choice- chicken and turkey are two good options. Just remember that based on your choice, the cooking time for the meat will vary.

What Else Can I Add to the TikTok Spaghetti?

In addition to the classic ingredients, you can also add some chopped veggies like carrots, bell peppers and zucchini to the mince mixture to make the dish healthier and nutrient rich.

Can I Try This with Any Other Kind of Pasta?

You sure can! While spaghetti still remains the best choice for this recipe, you can try replicating it with any other kind of pasta too- macaroni, fettucine or even some penne if that’s what you have at hand.
