HOW TO MAKE COPYCAT CHICK-FIL-A PEACH MILKSHAKE IN A GLASS

  1. First add the ice cream and pulse until it begins to smooth. Add in the frozen peaches, milk and simple syrup and blend all the ingredients together until incorporated.
  2. Add the fresh peeled and chopped peaches to the blender and lightly pulse together until combined. (Chick-Fil-A’s recipe has yummy chunks of peaches throughout so don’t OVER blend during this step if you love little bit of heaven waiting for you in your shake!)
  3. Lastly top with whipped topping and a maraschino cherry.

STORAGE AND REHEATING NOTES:

This copycat Chick-Fil-A peach milkshake, just like any other milkshake, tastes perfect when you serve it right out of the blender, when it is nice and chilled.

I wouldn’t recommend storing the milkshake beyond an hour or two, max.

HELPFUL TIPS & SUBSTITUTIONS:

How Can I Make the Milkshake Thicker?

The easiest way to thicken this milkshake or practically any other homemade milkshake for that matter is to use chilled ice cream right from the freezer. You could also use less milk and more ice-cream for extra thickness. If you add more frozen peaches, make sure to increase the peach simple syrup so you can balance the tartness.

What Can I Top the Milkshake With?

I’ve used whipped topping and a maraschino cherry to top the milkshake with. You can use chopped peaches or a dried peach slice or a drizzle of caramel sauce on the top if you want to.

How Do I Serve the Copycat Chick-Fil-A Peach Milkshake?

This fruity summer drink can be enjoyed at any time of the day, all on its own. If you really want to go the extra mile, you can team it up with a classic summer meal like a hot dog, a burger or even just some chicken nuggets.

Can I make my own Peach Simple Syrup?

Yes, you absolutely can! With only 3 simple ingredients you can make a homemade Peach Simple Syrup instead of buying it at the store! And since you already have fresh peaches on hand for this recipe, it’s the perfect time!

NOTES

Notes:
  • The Peach Simple syrup is a key ingredient in this recipe! I used store bought but you can make your own peach simple syrup if you prefer. I don’t recommend skipping this step. If you have had an actual Peach Milkshake from Chick-fil-A, you know that it is VERY flavorful and VERY peachy – they attain this by using a peach puree/syrup mixture. If you leave it out, you version will not have the same flavor.
