There’s something magical about the combination of mint and chocolate. And when you throw Oreos into the mix, well, you’re taking it to a whole new level. This recipe for Oreo Shamrock Shake is easy, delicious, and screams fun. So, grab your blender, and let’s get shaking.
Ingredients:
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Total Time: 5 minutes | Servings: 1
- ½ cup Cold Milk
- 3 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
- ¼ tsp Mint Extract
- Green Food Coloring, to your liking
- 4 Oreos, divided into 3 whole cookies & 1 crushed
- Whipped Cream, for topping
1. Add ½ cup of cold milk to a blender.
2. Next add 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
3. Then add ¼ teaspoon of mint extract (not peppermint) and a couple drops of green food coloring, or more to your liking.
4. Blend all of that together until smooth.
5. Add in 3 oreo cookies and pulse together a couple of times until incorporated. Pour the shake into a cold glass and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle on crushed oreos and enjoy.
Storage and Reheating Instructions
If by some miracle you have leftovers, pour them into an airtight container and freeze. It turns into an ice cream treat. When you’re ready to enjoy it again, let it sit out for a few minutes to soften.
