HELPFUL TIPS & SUBSTITUTIONS:

Which Ranch Seasoning Should I Use?

Hidden Valley Ranch has the best flavor in my opinion. Alternatively, you could use your homemade ranch seasoning or any other brand’s ranch seasoning.

How Much of the Seasoning Should I Use?

If you’re using homemade or a bigger pack of seasoning, and are concerned about how much of it should you be adding to the pickle jar, just stick to using 4 ounces of it.

How Much Dill Pickle Should I Use?

A 24 ounce jar of dill pickle is just the right amount. If you’re not using store-bought pickles and like to rely on a homemade version, you can use a jar of around 16 pickles for 1 packet of seasoning.
